2012 is almost over, and we are proud to celebrate our 3rd year at Madison Square Park!

We will be celebrating the New Year in style, with our annual Gala Dinner.  The dinner takes place on December 31st from 9AM -2AM.

Chef Matteo Bergamini’s spectacular Gala Menu will dazzle you and kick off the night’s festivities. Afterwards guests will dance til 2am to the beat of renowned DJ Felix Cutillo.  Come midnight we’ll toast 2013 with Italian bubbly and homemade Cotechino and Lentils (an Italian tradition ensuring good luck and prosperity in the New Year).

And…If you are still around by 2am you will enjoy Spaghetti with Oil, Garlic & Peperoncino  prepared by Tony May & Marisa May. What a treat!

Our Gala Celebration includes Dinner, Wine Pairings, New Year Toast, Hats, Noisemakers, Music and Dancing.

Christmas is almost upon us and we couldn’t be any more excited!  We are delighted to share our upcoming menus for both Christmas Eve and Day.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Our Christmas Eve dinner features our twist on the traditional Italian Feast of the seven fishes, with an all seafood four course menu.  Christmas eve dinner is $90 per person.

There’s reason to keep celebrating the day after as well! Our Christmas Day dinner features an exciting three course menu priced at $75 per person:

We survived two huge blackouts, several Dow Jones crashes, the abolition of the two Martini lunch, the end of two restaurants on 9/11, Irene last year and now, we are going to leave Sandy behind too!  With hard work, positive attitude, and staying together.. as family!

Sandy stopped us for a moment, but now it’s time to get moving.

Sandy hit hard, very hard, and we know many are also facing tremendous difficulties and our heart goes out to you, just as your thoughts were with us, The SD26 Family, during this difficult time.

Now we need to get back doing what we do best - take care of our friends and family, with Care, Enthusiasm and Passion.

Yes! We are open for business – starting this evening, Saturday November 3rd,  and we want you to know that.

The tradition continues… 20 years at San Domenico NY and now 3 years at SD26!

Join us on November 15th and slice your own truffles at our annual White Truffle Extravaganza at SD26 Restaurant!

La Querciola Winery will be featuring their incredible wines from the heart of Barolo territory including Barolo, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, and more!

The evening’s guests of honor include Sandrino Romanelli, our “Trofolau” (Truffle hunter in Piemontese dialect) to speak about the history and legends of the white truffle hunt. We will also be honoring Sig. Giardi Sardo, proprietor of La Querciola Winery.

Executive chef Matteo Bergaminiwill be featuring dishes that show off these bewitching “White Diamonds” of Piedmont. Imagine the smile on your face as you shave your own white truffles over dishes such as:

• Uovo Fritto con Toma Fondue Piemontese
• Ravioli “Del Plin”
• U.S.-grown Fassone Beef Filet with Foie Gras
• And White Truffle Gelato

The Truffle dinner takes place on Thursday, November 15th at 7PM.  Dinner is priced at $275 per person plus tax and tip.
